Esmeralda (formerly known as La Esmeralda) is the deuteragonist of Disney's 1996 animated feature film, The Hunchback of Notre Dame and a supporting protagonist in The Hunchback of Notre Dame II.

In the first film, she attracted three men: Claude Frollo, Quasimodo and Phoebus. However, in the second film she becomes a surrogate sister towards Quasimodo and is married to Phoebus and has a son named Zephyr.
